This past week my church (Central Christian) brought a group of wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ to our Ministry here in Gautemala. It was so great to see some old friends. Karen and Darren have been my friends for several years now and they were so encouraging to me. Teaching is very rewarding because of the kids but it was great to have them see me work with our kids. I have been sick now for the past three weeks and I am finally getting to the doctor tomorrow. Cindy blessed me with her sincere questions and also blessed me with a special gift. It was so comforting to see my friends. They worked so hard in painting our school and gave it a fresh look. It was neat to see them bring so many gifts for our children and the smiles they left along the path. Pastor Al came with his wife and two grand daughters. Pastor Al played our whole congregation in ping-pong and won every game but two. He is amazing. Even at 72 he climbed the hills to villages others didn't even attempt. He was very humble in his teaching and he encouraged me so much. Thanks Central for being a Church that cares about missions and puts others first. I love you!
